Hi Church,
We came to Fiji for the Fijian pastors' conference (thank you for sending us!) We had an opportunity to preach to the 169 delegates - wonderful! There are now eight C3 churches here, overseen by a great couple, Ps Michael and Lomi Naisau. He was a leading drug dealer and got saved - now he and his wife are leading C3 Fiji - don't you just love God and His ways! We ministered in his church (C3 Lautoka) on Sunday - powerful response...
Monday we flew into Savusavu to meet up with Ps Clarke and Asinate. She is a Fijian treasure - you would not think she had just come through MAJOR cancer surgery - she spoke to her ward-mates about the love of Christ as she recovered and got out of bed and back to work in record time.
She sits in our unit talking about the goodness of God till we are in tears. It is humbling to see such simple, child-like faith and deep joy - we feel back-slidden! We speak to their church this Wednesday evening - they are all gathering from all over the island (Vanua Levu) to hear us speak - we feel deeply honoured.
There is much to tell you - we cant wait - see you all this Sunday 5th September!
