For: 5-10 year olds (Kingdom Kids) and 11 & 12 year olds (Emphatic)
Forget stuffy Sunday Schools - if you're between five and 12 years old and you're at C3 Hamilton, then Church for Kids is the happening place to be every Sunday!
Church for Kids actually consists of two programmes; Kingdom Kids for 5-10 year olds and Emphatic for 11 & 12 year olds. From the kids' perspective, the format is all about fun and Jesus. The kids who attend get to:
• share what Jesus is doing in their lives
• learn to pray for each other
• laugh quite a lot!
The team who run Church for Kids love their jobs and get right into the spirit of it (and occasionally right into costume!) They also value the opportunity to sow positively into the lives of the kids of C3 Hamilton, by:
• valuing our children from a Biblical perspective
• teaching them the Bible
• equipping them for life in this world
• encouraging them to grow Christ-like
• giving opportunities for their gifts to develop
• creating a sense of belonging and friendship
• teaching them Jesus' values, inspiring them to be part of building the church worldwide.
